Tournament Structure
The structure for the Midwest Masters Series Championship will be modified Swiss-style, with the Top 8 players playing the following day in a single-elimination format for prizes.
Tournament Format: Standard Constructed
Constructed decks must contain a minimum of sixty cards. If a player wishes to use a sideboard, it must contain exactly fifteen cards.
With the exception of basic land cards, a player's combined deck and sideboard may not contain more than four of any individual card, counted by its english card title equivalent. All cards named Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, and Forest are basic.
The following card sets are permitted in this Standard tournament:
Magic 2010 (M10), Magic 2011 (M11), Shards of Alara, Conflux, Alara Reborn, Zendikar, Worldwake, and Rise of the Eldrazi.
* Deck lists are required
Entry Fee: FREE, but you must qualify at a Midwest Masters Series Open or Last Chance Qualifier to earn a spot!
Prizes
1st: $4000 and Midwest Master’s Trophy
2nd: $2000
3rd–4th: $1000
5th–8th: $500
Tournament Length
* Swiss rounds – 50 minutes per round
* Number of Swiss rounds based on attendance according to the following chart:

17–32: 5 rounds
33–64: 6 rounds
65–80: 7 rounds
Advancement
* All players may participate in all Swiss rounds.
* The top 8 players after the final Swiss round will advance to the top 8 single-elimination finals.
Top 8
* Top 8 matches will be best 2 of 3
* Where necessary, the standings after the Swiss rounds will still be used to determine final order in the standings.

* Players must bring pen, paper, card sleeves and appropriate counters.
